You may make a change of address, change of name or register as a new voter in the office of the election authority from 28 days through election day, however, if you wish to vote in the upcoming election you must vote the day you register.
Qualifications for registration are:
- Be a resident of your precinct for 30 days by the date of the election
- Be 18 years of age on the date of the election the day you register during grace period registration
- Be a citizen of the United States
Grace period registrants may not vote at the polls, even if they decided not to vote the day in which they made a change of address, change of name or registered as a new voter during grace period.
